3x Brighter Colors with Epson

Brilliant image quality requires high color brightness and Epson 3LCD projectors have 3 x Brighter Colors than leading competitive projectors.

One brightness measurement (lumens) is not enough. A projector‘s specification needs to show both high color brightness and high white brightness. If color brightness is lower than white brightness, images may be dark, dull and lose detail. If not provided, be sure to ask for a projector’s color brightness specification.

Customer's Review by. William Oterson

I've had no prior personal experience with projectors. That's my caveat, however, I did put this "Epson vs220 svga" projector through a variety of tests. And, truthfully, at first I didn't want to like it. But for the wrong reasons: from a photographers point of view this projector wasn't doing what I thought it should. So I went about finding reviews, not fake ones but those with comments I could test for, and determine for myself what was truthful, or not.
This projector will do everything one might expect, especially within its price range, and very nicely too. I unpacked it, hooked it up to my HP laptop that's running Windows Vista, plugged it in and it was up and running without difficulty.
I projected the display onto a 60 inch Apollo screen and tested it with DVD's, photos, a power point and a slide show. All with excellent results. And I was very impressed with the menus and amount of image quality adjustments available with or without the remote: color, brightness, sharpness, contrast, zoom in/out. You can correct for image view (perspective) and increase/decrease volume. It allows you to switch between image sources and will accept a variety of inputs. I found the projected resolution to be good but would've liked better. Also, I was unhappy with the pointer. But, the Epson vs220 svga is probably 'best in its class'.
