This is the second comment from Nick Alec and Erica J.Dymond who have bought Epson sv200 svga 2700 lumens :

By Nick Alec "Nice all-purpose projector", April 14, 2013
We use a projector everyday pretty much at my house, connected to our PS3 through which we watch netflix. The projector I use is the 3M MP410 for reference. I've had this Epson for about a month now and i really like some of the benefits it has over the 3M.
BENEFITS:
One of the benefits is that the output projection of the Epson vs220 svga is actually visible in a semi-lit environment. I guess this is due to the 2700 lumens. I cant see anything on the 3M basically unless its a dark environment (its got just 300 lumens). Another benefit is the remote the Epson comes with. It is so ridiculously convenient. I can power on/off, adjust the volume, zoom, freeze screen, pretty much anything! The 3M i have never had a remote, and now that i've been spoiled by the Epson, i wish that it did! Another important benefit, especially if your going to be using this projector in a home media environment, is that it has audio output (something my 3M doesnt have as well). The speakers on the projector themselves arent bad either, loud enough at the highest volume.
DISADVANTAGES:
Now the Epson isnt perfect. Its huge in size. Definetely not something you want to carry around. The pictures on Amazon make it seem smaller than it is. The rough measurement is 1foot long, 6 inches wide and 3 inches tall. And it absolutely pours out fire from its vents! Though i can report that it isnt loud enough to disturb you. The resolution is the other part i wasnt quite pleased with. I guess i've been spoiled by the 3M's beautiful resolution, but with the Epson i could clearly see text pixelated. Another annoyance was that it takes roughly 45 seconds to turn on from cold; slowly getting brighter and brighter (for reference the 3M opens in 10seconds).
Thats all the notes I've accumulated over my testing. Despite the low resolution and bulky size, i think this is a very nice projector with great projection capabilities in any sort of environment.

I have had an Epson VS210 Projector for awhile now. I have found it indispensable (especially when I am in situations where I otherwise must sign-out a projector for a very restricted time). It is nicely tucked away in my office for whenever it is needed. (And, that tends to be quite often). Over this period of time, it has sustained quite a bit of abuse: it has been jostled on quick sprints across campus (and once, in the back of a car, across this country), it has endured extreme temperatures, and even once survived a frightening fumble. While I have never truly tested how resilient this projector is, I do know that it has tolerated much more stress than I would have liked. Nonetheless, it still works as fantastically as it did on day-one. I love it.
Happily, this new Epson vs220 svga projector exceeds all my expectations. I used these two projectors next to each other and found this newest model has slightly richer and brighter colors. Otherwise, it sets-up and functions exactly as quickly and perfectly I as expected. Now, as stated in my initial review of the VS210 model, this projector may not please cinephiles who are seeking the absolute richest colors, the brightest whiles, and blackest blacks. It may not be the best choice for everyone's home entertainment room.
However, it is suitable for those who are much less demanding. It is perfect for dorm rooms (I used my VS210 when stuck in an on-campus residential situation one summer ... it was a real treat! We watched Indiana Jones projected on a white wall ... and not a single person complained about the quality!)
And, yes, one can use this with an iPad if one has a dongle. (It is an extra expense, but it infinitely more convenient for those who need to travel lightly).
I cannot recommend Epson vs220 svga 2700 lumens projectors enough. They are affordable, effective, and durable. They have the power to make a teacher's life much easier (and less anxiety ridden ... especially those who enjoy adding PowerPoint or even new-clips to their lectures!) I would imagine the same holds true for many of those in the business world. So very highly recommended!
